After purchasing travel insurance, you will receive an email from GeoBlue headquarters with instructions on member registration. Once you register and log in, you can view a list of doctors or hospitals registered in the GeoBlue network by region. The list includes both Direct Pay hospitals and non-Direct Pay hospitals.
If you wish to visit a hospital for treatment of a sudden illness or injury during your visit to Korea, please proceed with hospital reservations and medical treatment using the following methods.
1. From Korea, call 080-908-1051 to connect to the GeoBlue headquarters in the US.
(If you have difficulty with English, you can request a Korean interpreter.)
2. Present your Certificate Number to the agent, explain your current symptoms or injury, and inform them of the hospital you wish to visit and the date. The company will then send a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) to the hospital. (This does not apply to doctors or hospitals that do not accept Direct Pay.)
3. Visit the hospital on the scheduled date and receive medical treatment without worrying about medical expenses.
If you visited a hospital that does not accept Direct Pay, please fill out the Medical Claim Form (you can download the form after logging in as a member) and submit it to the head office via email or mail along with the itemized bill issued after treatment and the payment receipt to file a claim.
